WHAT IS NUTRIENT THERAPY?
Nutrient therapy, also known as vitamin therapy, includes a variety of treatment names such as: the Myers Cocktail, Vitamin Infusion, Micronutrient Intravenous Therapy and even the hangover cure.
Are you looking to boost your energy and overall health? If so look no further…
Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine is excited to offer the Myers Cocktail to our patients. Come relax in our wellness center and refuel your body with vital nutrients essential for optimal performance. Our cocktail is tailored to meet your individual needs and administered by our nationally certified Nurse Practitioner, Tara Delle Chiaie.
WHAT IS THE MYERS COCKTAIL?
The Myers cocktail was named after the late John Myers, MD. The unique cocktail contains vitamin C, magnesium, minerals and B vitamins. It can be helpful with chronic fatigue, asthma, arrhythmias and other conditions.
WHY GIVE NUTRIENTS INTRAVENOUSLY?
Giving nutrients intravenously can achieve serum concentrations not otherwise obtainable with other routes of administration. Various nutrients have been shown to exert health health benefits, which can only be achieved with IV administration. Vitamin C for example has been shown to provide an antiviral effect achievable only with IV administration.
The power of magnesium: magnesium is a key ingredient in the Myer’s cocktail and promotes relaxation of both blood vessels and skeletal muscle as well as reducing muscle spasms. IV nutrient therapy is more effective at correcting intracellular nutrient deficits than taking a tablet.
The procedure: After you consult with the Nurse Practitioner, we will then insert a small catheter into your vein and begin safely delivering your cocktail infused with hydration. It is also VERY beneficial after a long night of FUN.
