The Essentials of Facial Aesthetic Assessment
This one day intensive aesthetic assessment certification course is designed for medical and nursing professionals to further their knowledge of the facial aging process along with aesthetic concerns, goals, and treatment options. The course is taught in two parts; an intensive lecture session of in depth anatomical and aging process knowledge followed by clinical hands-on training with live models. Under the guidance of Tara Delle Chiaie MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, students will learn how to recognize and address signs of aging including, dynamic and static wrinkles, skin laxity, volume loss, and degradation of skin texture, as well as hyperpigmentation and stubborn submental fat.
The course will delve into the indications for a variety of aesthetic treatment options after an in-depth understanding of anatomy and the aging process is explored. Attendees will begin to understand facial shapes, facial profiles, indepth anatomy, ethnic aging, Fitzpatrick skin types and the importance of gender considerations with aesthetic treatments. Learning how to inject is one set of necessary skills but assessment is of equal if not greater value to the aesthetic provider.
