What exactly is a ZO Stimulator Peel?

The ZO Stimulator Peel AKA Stem Peel, works in minutes by exfoliating the skin and stimulating the production of collagen and cell turn over. The Stimulator Peel contains 3 different acids that help with the exfoliation and cell turnover; 10% Salicyclic Acid, 10% Lactic Acid, and 10% Citric Acid. Salicylic Acid helps to keep pores clear and is good for those who suffer with acne and oily skin. Lactic Acid and Citric Acid help to give the skin an even, healthy glow.
What should I expect during treatment?
Here at DCCM, all patients are required to fill out paperwork prior to getting treated. This way we can understand your medical history and your perception of your skin. Once paperwork is filled out, one of our staff members will take you to the treatment room and make you comfortable in our cozy treatment bed. Our esthetician will cleanse your skin with the ZO Skin Health Gentle Cleanser. Depending on your skin type, she will also add an exfoliation prior to getting treated with the ZO Stimulator Peel. After the face is cleansed, the Ossential Peel Prep is applied evenly on the entire face. Ossential Stimulator Peel Solution is then applied evenly on the entire face as well. The Peel Solution is applied in 2-3 passes onto the face and then the Ossential Peel Neutralizer will be applied on the treated area. The Ossential Peel Neutralizer returns the skin to its natural pH, so patients may experience a warming sensation that will last about 10 seconds. The ZO Stimulator Peel is non-aggressive and gentle on the skin, requiring no downtime and no fuss.

The ZO Stimulator Peel improves fine lines and wrinkles, acne, age spots, hyper pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture.
