Frax Laser
DCCM™ harnesses the power of the Candela Nordlys laser to provide the “Gold Standard” in skincare. The non-ablative fractional treatment is used for skin resurfacing and treatment of acne scarring, surgical scarring, and striae. With optimal SoftCool technology, this treatment is relaxing and soothing. Due to its non-ablative and non-invasive technique. The Candela by Nordlys allows minimal downtime with minimal discomfort in sessions as quick as 30-60 minutes with nothing more than a topical anesthetic, like lidocaine.
This laser treatment has one-of-a-kind technology to allow pulse time and energy to be set independent of one another allowing more specified and unique parameters for each patient for optimal results. With this flexibility, Surface Medical Aesthetics’s clinicians are able to maximize results with minimal discomfort and damage. This ensures client comfortability throughout the entire procedure. Typically, a series of 4-6 treatments are required for maximal results with the proper healing time between, approximately 4 weeks to ensure client safety and proper healing.
The laser acts to rejuvenate the skin and resurface the cells by creating small channels of energy throughout the skin eliminating old pigmented cells and stimulating new collagen to reveal younger, smoother, rejuvenated skin anywhere on the body. Ideal for stretch marks, surgical scarring, poor skin texture, and areas of fine lines and wrinkles.
The power of duality…
Now offering the light and bright treatment using Frax 1550 and IPL technology in one treatment.
Are you looking for a younger fresher look? With advanced technologies we can enhance one’s appearance. If you were looking for a successful treatment to help you reclaim your skins youthful look texture and tone then the light and bright treatment offered at DCCM is right for you. The light and bright treatment restores that useful glowing skin. Youthful and glowing skin are the most requested treatments from patients around the world. As we age our skin changes on a variety of levels. The light and bright treatment is the first of its kind to address the various levels of aging in one treatment. During the aging process our skin becomes left smooth and unwanted pigmentation in small vessels can begin to rear their ugly little head. Overtime sun exposure will accelerate the signs of aging. The light and bright treatment will help minimize those signs of aging, improve skin texture and lessen the appearance of annoying vessels. The light and bright treatment can help rejuvenate your skin by rejuvenating the sun damage, reduce redness, lighten up age spots, and freckles, along with dark spots and improve the skins overall tone and texture.
The light and bright treatment is a non-ablative treatment that works by delivering a combination of technologies designed to address surface level irregularities as well as affect the dermis or what we like to refer to is the middle layer of the skin. The Frax 1550 technology rejuvenates the skin by delivering very small controlled bursts of energy only to the area being treated to reduce textural irregularities. The energy delivered stimulates the dermis (the middle layer of the skin and the production of collagen. The ellipse IPL technology will refresh the skin by using similar small controlled burst of light that directly target blood vessels or melanin within your skin. Melanin is what causes discoloration in your skin. The IPL also reduces the coloring of age spots, freckles, redness and overall sun damage. The light and bright treatment is a combination of the fax 1550 technology along with the IPL technology. Combining treatments enhances ones over all treatment satisfaction.
Patients can expect their healthcare provider to initiate a consult prior to treatment. The consult is where you will meet with your provider to discuss your treatment goals. It is essential that you avoid sun tanning, and even self tanning products prior to your treatment. The light and bright treatment consists of a course of three sessions but this may vary according to the area being treated and your corrective goals. Your healthcare provider will review with you how many sessions you need. An anesthetic numbing cream is used to reduce discomfort during the treatment. The treatment procedure will generally take between 30 and 45 minutes. With an additional numbing time of about 30 minutes. After your treatment, your skin may benefit from applying cold damp cloth to your face and using aquaphor. Your prescribe may recommend addition at home care. Not adhering to strict protocol pre and post care can decrease the treatment outcome and increase risk of complications. You may notice a thin layer of your skin sloughing off. Sun spots will begin darkening as some of the pigment rises to the surface. This will continue for several days following the treatment. Do not pick, scrub or peel any of the sloughing skin. Your skin will be fragile and needs to heal on its own. The skin is an amazing organ; trust in it, and trust in your provider, it just needs time to heal.If you are looking to rejuvenate and refresh your skin the light and bright treatment at Dccm is the way to go.
