What IS The Myers Cocktail?
The Myers cocktail was named after the late John Myers, MD. The unique cocktail contains vitamin C, magnesium, minerals and B vitamins. It can be helpful with chronic fatigue, asthma, arrhythmias and other conditions.
Why Give Nutrients Intravenously?
Giving nutrients intravenously can achieve serum concentrations not otherwise obtainable with other routes of administration. Various nutrients have been shown to exert health health benefits, which can only be achieved with IV administration. Vitamin C for example has been shown to provide an antiviral effect achievable only with IV administration.
The power of magnesium: magnesium is a key ingredient in the Myer’s cocktail and promotes relaxation of both blood vessels and skeletal muscle as well as reducing muscle spasms. IV nutrient therapy is more effective at correcting intracellular nutrient deficits than taking a tablet.
