What is PRP? Platelet Rich Plasma AKA PRP is a fantastic way to help preserve and restore your skins health.  Tara @surfacemed traveled to Beverly Hills to learn this unique yet innovative treatment many years ago. She has been performing PRP injections for over 5 years now and has 1000’s under her belt. We have amazing success with our proprietary PRP cocktail. PRP is for hair restoration, skin rejuvenation, tear trough restoration and vaginal restoration 🤫. We can also use your PRP to microneedle imperfections within the skin such as acne scaring.PRP is a natural product created from your own body. A small amount of blood is drawn from you and placed in a sterile tube that is spun down in a centrifuge to separate the different components of the blood. Red and white blood cells are divided from the platelets and the plasma (the clear fluid). This plasma now contains a higher than normal number of platelets and is called platelet rich plasma, or PRP.

You may be asking why Platelets Rejuvenate Skin?

Platelets are the cells in the blood that help tissue to heal and grow new cells or kick start hair growth. The PRP, injected into specific areas of the skin, act as a matrix that promotes your own collagen to grow, regenerates tissue, and thus acts as to naturally smooth and tighten the skin. In this way, PRP softens wrinkles and creating smoother skin texture and tone. When used in the scalp it kick starts your hair follicles to become healthier this producing greater volume and or regrowth.
